What happens on the day
Your supernatural adventure will begin in downtown Bayfield, where you will meet up with your professional guide. Your first terrifying stop is the Old Bayfield Courthouse. First built in 1883, the original structure was destroyed by a devastating fire. Some say that spirits still wander around the premises.
Watch your back as your guide fills you in on the legend of “Big Harry”, Bayfield’s own Bigfoot. Then, see if you can spot the spirits of William and Jessie Knight peeking out the windows of the historic Queen Anne Mansion. You may even catch a glimpse of the city’s most elusive ghost, the “Trench Coat Man”. Legend has it, he appears as a tall, thin man wearing a dark coat and a flat-topped hat.
Before the night is over, you’ll also make several stops along the shore of Lake Superior. Watch the skies for UFOs as your guide provides you with detailed accounts of Bayfield’s most recent sighting. As you look out across the lake’s dark waters, listen to ominous tales about ghosts, cannibalism, a Lake Superior shipwreck, lighthouse hauntings, and more.
