What happens on the day
Get ready to take on the wild and scenic White Salmon River!
Located in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, the White Salmon River is as thrilling as it is beautiful. Fed by glaciers from Mt. Adams, this crystal-clear river surges through a steep, narrow canyon packed with powerful rapids and dramatic scenery.
After checking in with your certified guide, you’ll gear up with high-quality rafting equipment before enjoying a scenic shuttle ride to the launch point. Along the way, your guide will cover safety basics, paddling techniques, and what to expect on the river.
Then it’s time to hit the water! Tackle a variety of fun Class III–IV rapids, including local favorites like Rattlesnake and Top Drop. For the grand finale, you’ll have the option to take on Husum Falls, a 10-foot waterfall that flows beneath Highway 141!

What do I need to bring?
Sunglasses with a croakie attachment and sunscreen are recommended as well as a change of clothes and a towel. A bag lunch or a snack as well as a water bottle with an attachment strap are also encouraged.

Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 7 days prior to the experience. However, all cancellation and rescheduling requests are subject to additional fees. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 7 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, maintenance issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
