What happens on the day
Fasten your harness, it’s time to take your day to new heights! During this customizable lesson for beginners, you and a loved one will experience the thrill of rock climbing.
Your half to full-day lesson kicks off along the rocky ridges of Mt. Erie. This incredible climbing area features a variety of different routes – from easy, playground-like climbs to more challenging and vertical ascents. While climbing, you’ll also enjoy jaw-dropping views of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and of course, Lake Erie!
A fun and passionate guide will meet you on the mountain and bring everything you need to get started: harnesses, helmets, shoes – you name it, they’ll bring it! After going over the basics of safety and belaying, you’ll soon find yourself gripping onto the wall.
Feel the smoothness of the rock beneath your hands as you slowly begin to make your way up. Along the way, your guide will provide you with technique tips and tricks. By the end of your lesson, you’ll be ready to take the next step towards your own climbing adventures!

Yes. However, if you would like to bring your own equipment, it must be inspected by your instructor before use.

Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 72 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, maintenance issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
