We were scheduled for 6PM but the wind speed was 7mph so in anabuncance of caution Don recheduled us for sunrise which turned outy to be great. Our pilot Don was very experienced and cautious and liftoff and landing could not be smoother The view were fantastic! Thank you Don and Jordan

What happens on the day
As the crew gets ready for lift-off, you can either assist with balloon preparation or relax and watch as it majestically takes shape before you. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains, the Shenandoah Valley and local vineyards as you float through the sky.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 14 days prior to your experience, failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is canceled due to inclement weather you will reschedule your experience directly with your experience provider.

Don was very knowledgeable and got the balloon up and guided it with ease. It was so beautiful and peaceful. He answered all my questions very kindly. Im so glad we went on this experience and so glad Don was our pilot!
Our hot air balloon ride was super enjoyable and a very unique experience. It was just the two of us and Don the balloon pilot. He was very accomplished and a wealth of information! So amazing to silently glide above the countryside, hearing the cattle and dogs below. Then, the noise of the burner roaring flames into the cavernous envelope above and one again silence!! Highly recommend the trip. Stay several days in the lovely Shenandoah Valley and enjoy!!
