Your day at Richmond International Raceway kicks off in the classroom, where an expert instructor will teach you how to safely drive a 500-horsepower stock car. Then, you'll be equipped with a protective helmet and racing suit before slipping into the driver's seat. Your helmet features a built-in radio, allowing you to communicate with your instructor throughout your timed session.
Feel the adrenaline build as you pull up to the starting line, waiting for the green flag to wave. With the V8 engine rumbling beneath you, you’ll tear around the track like a pro, flying down straightaways and confidently overtaking slower drivers along the way. By the end, you’ll take home a printed certificate featuring your top speed.
And the best part? With this flexible racing package, you'll have access to a variety of time slots, including sessions during peak hours (pending availability).

About the Richmond International Raceway
Known as America's Premier Short Track, the Richmond International Raceway hosts two NASCAR doubleheader weekends annually. This 0.75-mile, D-shaped, oval track has 14 degree turns, a 1,290-foot front stretch, and an 860-foot back stretch.

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!
AM times are typically 8:00 to 11:00
PM times are typically 12:00 to 3:00

Important Details
Essential Information
- Participants must be a minimum of 5'0'' and 100 lbs in order to participate, and a maximum of 6'7" and 300 lbs
- Participants must be in good overall physical condition
- A valid driver's license is required
- Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent of legal guardian who must sign a consent form
- Vehicles are manual transmission (stick shift), however the crew is happy to assist you if you need a little help
- Pricing includes accidental insurance coverage, souvenir racing license and ear buds
- Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages
- Some seating is provided, however, it is recommended to bring lawn chairs to guarantee a seat for any spectators

In the unlikely event that you spin out or wreck your car, you will be asked to leave the track for safety reasons.

If your experience is canceled due to inclement weather, the driving school will contact you and either immediately reschedule you for another available date, or issue you a credit that never expires and can be used at any of the nationwide speedways
. A refund will not be issued due to rain-outs.

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final and no cancellations can be made. Rescheduling requests are allowed up to 30 days prior to the experience; however, all rescheduling requests are subject to additional fees. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule within 30 days of your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your experience is cancelled due to inclement weather, maintenance issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
