I booked the ultimate biplane experience for my husband as a birthday gift. He loved it! He had an amazing time. Dave (the pilot) was wonderful, and told us all about his beautiful planes before the flight. And in flight my husband was able to experience several acrobatic maneuvers. What happens on the day
This aerial adventure is customized to your comfort level so you can choose to simply enjoy the scenery or test your nerves with a loop, roll or wing-over in the flawlessly restored WWII Stearman Biplane! During the 1-hour open cockpit flight, you'll have the opportunity to handle the controls with the help of your pilot directing you through the 2-way communication system.
Your FAA Certified Pilot has over 38 years of experience and is both commercially licensed and a Masters Aerobatic Champion.

Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

FAQs
Are there any height, weight or age restrictions?
The passenger must weigh no more than 300 pounds. To ensure the parachute fits correctly, this flight is suitable for anyone over the age of 12. There are no height restrictions.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a valid form of ID with you to the airport.
What is the plane like?
You will be in an open cockpit Stearman Biplane that has been beautifully restored. It was owned and operated by the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942-1945.
Will I get to fly the plane?
The Ultimate Biplane Flight will be customized to your comfort level. If you would like to handle the controls, your pilot will guide you using the 2-way communication system, or feel free to sit back and enjoy the sights!
Will I be cold in the open cockpit?
It is recommended to bring a light jacket with you, but it does depend on the season and weather for the day. Gloves and a light jacket are recommended for cooler weather.
Can I bring a camera on board?
Participants may bring a camera on board, however it is recommended to use a secure wrist strap.

Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 72 hours prior to your experience. If you have to reschedule more than once a $100 fee will apply. Failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is canceled due to inclement weather you will reschedule your experience directly with your pilot.

This was incredible. David was a great tour guide and instructor! I felt safe and well informed about the operations of the aircraft and even when there was a little bump in the ride (watch those thermal drafts) I was confident that I could keep the plane steady with David behind me talking me through it.
The biplane ride was spectacular. I can't wait to do it again. Dave was the greatest pilot.
