What happens on the day
Bryce Canyon is filled with fascinating crimson-colored, spire-shaped rocks known as hoodoos. Take in the beauty of these formations along with breathtaking views on this incredible 1.5-hour horseback ride!
Your journey begins when you meet up with your experienced and friendly wranglers, who will lead you down scenic trails with panoramic views of the countryside on a 4.5-mile loop. As you ride along, marvel at how hypnotic a horse’s ears can be, bobbing along in front of you as you gently clip-clop along the trail.
Take in the Dixie National Forest and the rim of Water Canyon Amphitheater, the first canyon in Bryce Canyon National Park. Next, climb Bristlecone Pine Ridge and marvel at the standing 1,500-year-old Bristlecone Pines – some of the oldest living things in all of North America. Pause for a moment on the ridge to soak up the views of Boat Mesa and Sinking Ship Peak, some of the higher points in Fairyland Amphitheater.
