What happens on the day
Trade city noise for happy oinks and wagging piggy tails with a heartwarming cuddle session at Halbert Farm!
Led by the passionate owner and pig whisperer, Joshua, this 1.5-hour tour invites you to connect with these lovable creatures in a way you’ve never imagined. Begin in the farm's cozy backyard, where you’ll meet the “instafamous” Ripley and the newest piglets. Learn how the Kunekune breed was saved from near extinction and appreciate their endearing personalities.
Continue the adventure by greeting the rest of the Halbert Herd including miniature zebu cows, horses, a charming donkey, and lively chickens and ducks. At the paddocks, shower the pigs with belly rubs and treats, and watch them show off their clever tricks, including sitting on command.
