What happens on the day
Tackle the serene and playful waters off the shore of Hilton Head Island with a private tubing trip! This coastal section of the South Carolina Lowcountry is known for its picturesque beaches, lush palm trees, and the historic lighthouse and museum that marks the southern tip. The Hilton Head Harbor is home to personal and professional craft, and it’s where your adventure begins!
Pack your crust-free sandwiches and a 6-pack of soda before meeting up at the harbor. Here, a USCG captain — licensed by the US coast Guard— will take you onto the deep-blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. They can also assist with set up or instruction, answering any questions you may have or just giving you some fun facts about Hilton Head and the local wildlife!
Strap into a life vest before showing your friends and family what you've got as youtube across the curling waves, laughing joyously as you try not to fall off (but if you do, it’ll make for a great photograph). Take turns riding the waves and relaxing in the boat with a cool drink as the breathtaking landscape passes you by. If you're lucky, you'll catch sight of the popular Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins that leap out of the water. Hilton head is home to over 100 of these marvelous mammals, and is situated along their yearly migratory path.
