What happens on the day
From lush rainforests and cascading waterfalls to gorgeous sandy beaches, Puerto Rico is truly a Caribbean paradise!
Your epic day begins when you meet your fun and knowledgeable guide at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel. Here, you’ll board a climate-controlled vehicle and enjoy a scenic drive to Arecibo and the Birth of the New World statue. While admiring this massive bronze sculpture, you’ll learn about Puerto Rico’s rich history and the story behind the statue.
From there, you’ll make your way to one of the island’s three black sand beaches. You won’t believe your eyes as you stroll across this enchanting landscape. You’ll also explore the iconic Mar Chiquita Beach. This beach is famous for its jagged rock formations and pristine turquoise bay. Choose to hike along the beach’s shoreline or slip on a snorkel mask and see if you can spot any tropical fish!
The second half of your tour will take you deep into Puerto Rico’s rainforests. Before heading into the Toro Negro State Tropical Rainforest, you’ll stop for a quick bite at one of the island’s top restaurants. Then, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the rainforest. Take a refreshing dip beneath Las Delicias Falls or snap photos of the jaw-dropping landscape!
Finally, your unforgettable day will conclude with a stop at La Piedra Escrita. This massive boulder is known for its fascinating petroglyphs. See if you can decipher this ancient script before relaxing in a pristine rainforest pool. The perfect ending to a perfect day!
