The artist was a very good teacher. He was very informative, safety conscious, and patient with my wife and me. After a short orientation we were given sanitized goggles to use and began working with the melting glass over a torch. Jim stood right by us, guiding us carefully as we each had our turn making 3 different decorative objects (your choice of several designs and shapes). The experience was thrilling! It was well worth the price.

Self-taught artist and instructor, Jim Loewer will customize your private lesson to your comfort and skill level. Using techniques derived from Japanese culture and the American studio glass movement, you'll get an introductory lesson into the art of glass blowing.
Learn safety, glass handling, blowing skills, color application, cold working, casting and more throughout your lesson.

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

- Participants must be at least 10 years old and those under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
- All levels are welcome and your class will be tailored toward your ability
- Materials and tools are included
- Items must cool overnight in the oven, but will be available for pick-up
- Shipping fees will apply for items that cannot be picked up

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.

If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, rescheduling is allowed up to 7 days prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 7 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
