Dinner Cruise in Philadelphia

Our first time, did not know what to expect since this was also a gift to us. The entire trip from booking to getting off the ship was excellent. Food was good, friendly service, good drinks and music. We certainly will do again in the future with friends.

My wife and I had a great time. When I booked the tickets, I had made some food requests for my wife, stating that she reacts to certain foods and would prefer organic food if at all possible. A representative from the Spirit of Philadelphia called me for more details and said that they normally do not have organic food on board but he would talk with the kitchen chef. When dinner began I helped myself to the wonderful food provided at the buffet and they brought out a separately prepared dish for my wife. She was blown away at the service we were given, and we couldn't have been happier with the staff. It was a great experience and would highly recommend this for future customers.

We had a great time. The boat was so incredibly smooth, stable, and well piloted that the only way you would know that you were underway was to look out the window at the passing lights. The food was excellent, the drinks top drawer, and the DJ played the crowd to perfection. If you didn't have a good time you were probably dead.

We had a wonderful time and we would highly recommend this experience to others. Thank you for your hospitality. Our server Tari was absolutely wonderful. She was a joy to be around and she made the trip a lot of fun!!

We loved it. The whole experience was SO VERY NICE. We felt very cared for and the food was outstanding. Thank you guys for making my birthday celebration awesome and special. Loved the picture as well.

Our Waitress, Sophia, was very helpful and very nice.

Everything was great, except they charge way too much for drinks. $10.00 is excessive

A beautiful cruise along the Delaware! The buffet was good, our server was great. The outside seating was wonderful. They had some decks closed off so it wasn't too crowded. It would have been nice to have table service instead of buffet and to have a drink included in the ticket price

Nice and clean, DJ was good, some food was cold and rolls were hard but it all tasted good

I WAS ON THE SPIRIT ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO AND LOVED THE FLOOR SHOW THE WAITERS HAD DONE. THE FOOD WAS GOOD BUT NOT MUCH TO CHOICE FROM ON THE BUFFET. MORE VEGGIES WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD GO AGAIN ,TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET. WE ENJOYED THE BOAT RIDE AND WAITRESSES WERE REALLY NICE TO SERVE YOU IN EVERYTHING YOU NEED. HAD FUN BUT NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. Food was fine but atmosphere inside rather loud. We had the worst table on the lower deck: the buffet line was snaked all around our table while we were trying to have a romantic night for two, which made for a very awkward dinner-time experience. The view from the outside upper deck was amazing, and we ended up spending most of our time looking at the skyline from there. Once we found out this wonderful spot we had a great rest of our evening, and didn't bother anymore with our terrible table.

Music was too loud and the tables too close together. Expected waiter or waitress service rather than a buffet. Food was fine. Just not the relaxing cruise dinner that I expected.

Booking the dinner cruise thru Virgin was extremely easy. So no issues with Virgin but the dinner cruise itself was not worth the money. The views from the top outside deck were great but the food and inside atmosphere were awful. I would not recommend this dinner cruise to anyone.

I would not recommend Spirit of Philadelphia Dinner Cruise. The food was awful. The pasta was dry and bland and the salad was practically gone by the time our table was called. There were cob webs around the dividers of the buffet. When going up for a second time, the food was already being put away and not replenished. The rolls and butter were gone. The outside of the boat was dirty and rusty. It does not look like any daily or weekly upkeep is being done. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The cruise took off within 10 minutes of the scheduled time and returned approx. on schedule. It was a one and done experience for my husband and I.
