What happens on the day
Some mornings call for coffee. This one calls for a hot air balloon, a sunrise, and champagne.
Your morning begins just outside Portland, where you’ll join an expert pilot and crew as they inflate a giant, rainbow-hued hot air balloon. Help with the process and learn all about the balloon’s mechanics before stepping aboard and floating gracefully off the ground.
With every whoosh of the burner, you’ll rise higher into the air, enjoying jaw-dropping views of Willamette Valley’s lush vineyards, woodlands, farmland, and more. On a clear day, you may even spot Mt. Hood glowing in the early morning light.
After approximately 45 to 60 minutes of flight, your pilot will bring the balloon in for landing, where a team will be waiting to transport you back to the launch site. Then, it’s time for the grand finale: a celebratory champagne toast, a tradition that dates back to the early days of ballooning!

Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 72 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, maintenance issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
