Who is the instructor for my lesson?
You will be taught by PGA Class A Professional Sean Lanyi. Sean is a TaylorMade Staff Member, AimPoint Express Certified Level III Instructor and Putt Doctor Certified Instructor for the Portland and Southern California areas working closely with mentors Dr. Craig Farnsworth and Mark Sweeney. Sean is a Certified Instructor for K-Vest - 3D Biofeedback, Blast Motion Golf, and Boditrak Sports. He is the 2014 Junior Golf Leader of the Year for the Southern California PGA Section and Top 50 US Kids Golf Kids Teachers in the USA. Sean mentored and was taught by some of the best instructors in the world including Mike Malaska, Stan Utley, Jim Waldron, Jerry King, and Seth Glasco.
What is a PGA Class A Professional?
The golf instructor has been certified by the Professional Golf Association (PGA) as Class A professionals. In order to receive a PGA Class A, the instructor must have completed a multi-year series of work, study and training in every aspect of golf, must pass an aptitude test, and must maintain expertise through continuing education programs.
What will the lesson focus on?
This is a customized lesson for golfers of all levels, from beginners to experienced golfers looking to hone their skills. Areas of instruction may include driving, putting, chipping, proper body alignment, grip, posture, ball position, swing mechanics and more.
