Our guide, Ryan, made this tour so much more than I had hoped for! It was like being back in high school science class, in a good way, where he was able to dive deep into the history of the Columbia river gorge and we got to learn so much about how it was all formed, including the entire PNW! Would definitely recommend him for any tours in the future.

What happens on the day
Pay a visit to the misty gems of Oregon during this Columbia Gorge waterfall tour!
Your incredible day begins in Downtown Portland where you’ll meet your friendly naturalist guide before hopping aboard a comfortable, climate-controlled van. Enjoy stunning views of the city as you drive towards the Historic Columbia River Gorge Highway and world-famous Waterfall Row!
Your first stop will take you to the historic Vista House (Crown Point). Here, you can use the “million dollar” restroom before descending down a winding road into magical forests filled with ferns, lichen, wildflowers, towering Douglas Fir trees, and native wildlife. Enjoy short, scenic walks to 4 to 5 spectacular waterfalls, each unique in shape, size, natural setting and “personality.” Some of the falls we may visit during our tour include: Latourell, Sheppard’s Dell, Wahkeena, Bridal Veil, Multnomah, and Horsetail Falls.
For one of the best views in Oregon, you’ll visit the world-famous Multnomah Falls. This 620-foot waterfall is the second tallest year-round waterfall in the US. Enjoy the falls from the viewing platform or walk to the historic Benson Bridge and feel the mist cascading down. No matter what, you’ll walk away with incredible photos that you can cherish forever!
Throughout the day, your guide will offer insights into the culture, history, and geology of the area. By the end, you’ll feel awestruck by the beauty of Oregon!
