During this hands-on cooking class, you’ll create a steaming bowl of Japanese ramen alongside an expert chef. First, you’ll practice basic knife skills while carefully cutting a delicious array of fresh ingredients. Then, uncover the secrets behind creating a perfectly balanced broth.
Learn how to layer flavors while discovering the history of the four main tares: shio (salt), shoyu (soy sauce), miso (fermented soybean), and tonkatsu. For the grand finale, you’ll customize your bowl with traditional garnishes and toppings.
The cherry on top? Everything you need to create your custom bowl of ramen is included. Plus, all of the ingredients are easy to find in local markets, so you can show off your new cooking skills at home!
