Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly.

It would of been nice to have a place to sit and eat some of our samples. Also, I thought there could have been a couple more samples. It was a surprise that there were other people taking the tour. There were only 2 others and not an issue. Just would have liked to of known ahead of time. It was a very good tour learning of the history of the Market! Our guide was excellent!

My husband surprised me with a gift of a "tasting tour" as my birthday present this year. We are new to this area, so he thought it would be fun to explore a new place together, and he was right. Our guide was very friendly, and the group was small enough so that we could chat and stay together without getting lost in the market. We all had an enjoyable trip. Would definitely recommend the tasting tour to others.

Entire experience from start to finish was excellent and very enjoyable. Our tour guide Kathy, was very knowledgable, considerate and friendly.

We had a great time on this tour. I had been to the Westside Market previously a few times, but I was introduced to vendors that I had missed before and all of the vendors gave out great samples and were very knowledgable and open to questions.

We had never visited the West Side Market and were pleasantly surprised. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun to be with. The vendors were awesome and we learned so much. We will definitely go back to visit and purchase items from the market.

We were guided by Kathy, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the West Side Market and its history. The individual places on the tour were expecting us and ready with food samples. Although the market was busy with weekend shoppers, the tour was well organized and interesting. When it was over, we spent time shopping ourselves and went back to purchase items from many of the people who impressed us on the tour. We came home with lots of goodies!

Our guide, Kathy, was very knowledgeable about the west side market and it's history, both long term and current. We had a great 2 hours moving through the market tasting the wares and talking with the vendors. Everything Kathy selected for us to taste was excellent, she picked great vendors who were not only willing to give us a great tasting, but took the time to tell us about the food being tasted and the history of the booth.

Carol was a wonderful guide and we enjoyed the tour. I would suggest trying some different items, although most were tasty, I think some substitutions could be made. But again, enjoyed the experience.

Enjoyable tour.

We had a great time. My husband would have liked a few little bit more substantial foods (meats, pierogi, pasta, etc.). We really enjoyed the history and getting to know some of the vendors. It helped the market seem more manageable -- and we will be regular shoppers now! The personalized stories and advice were priceless. Thank you!

It was ok, felt like it was not worth the value of the cost. The guide was very knowledgeable, and the vendors were very pleasant and knowledgeable, but mostly it's something you could almost do on your own. We think it needed a little something more to give it an "experience."

I would recommend this experience, however, based on our guide and his knowledge, I would recommend booking through the market. He was not terribly excited about the market and spent very little time on "small tidbits and things you wouldn't know about the venue". Offered opinions and helpful info about the food from vendors we visited, but not so much the market itself.
