NASCAR Ride Along - Charlotte Motor Speedway

It was great. More than I expected. I’ve never gone so fast. I would highly recommend you do this if you are in the area.

It was amazing. I highly recommend the double, since it takes a good three laps to get used to the speed...after that, the last theee laps are pure enjoyment!!! Would love to do again!

Once I arrived on the in-field of the track, I was put in with the drivers and not the ride along group. So was confused where to go for the ride along -- not a major item but I arrived early so I was on time. Great experience and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

This was an amazing experience. I'm a huge NASCAR fan and got this as a gift from my wife for my birthday/Father's Day. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

Well organized. The ride went too fast, should be 4-6 laps.

I really enjoyed the NASCAR riding experience. It was very cool to get a feel for the power of the car and what the drivers are doing. I did 6 laps with very few cars on the track and I can't imagine doing 600 laps, maintaining control at those speeds with so many other cars around, cutting each other off, etc. It would be very demanding and grueling. It was fun climbing in and out of the car. I was afraid once I got in I wouldn't be able to get back out. I'm not as young as I used to be. I'd recommend anyone to ride along but I'm not in a hurry to be the driver!

Outstanding! My husband is hard to buy for but the NASCAR experience was a perfect gift. I hope he will use this site to shop for me in the future.

This was an anniversary gift that absolutely topped the charts! Booking and pricing through Cloud 9 was entirely satisfactory and I can't wait to use this site to find more adventures for our future fun! Our stock car experience was smoooooth... The whole operation ran like a well oiled machine and we were in and out within an hour, even though there were a ton of people doing different things around the track and we were far from first in line. Really it was all quite impressive and I have raved about every aspect of our experience ever since.

only part I didnt like was the fumes getting in the car when first got in but its was great for a ride in the race car thanks for your safe help and reliable ride larry church

The people at the track were not as friend as they should have been but they were good at the job and keeping you safe. Over all it was great.i would do it again.

The two professional drivers were great. There was an ESPN special being filmed on the day went for my experience, and as a result we had to wait for our opportunity to use the track. The drivers realized we had waited a while but got us in the car and riding as quick as possible once the film crew moved off the track. Also, one of the assistants helping me into the car didn't understand that I had a double pass for 6 laps and told my driver that I should get three laps. When we finished my first 3 laps I told the assistant I was supposed to get 6 laps- he then told me I could have 3 more laps after the next rider. The other driver noticed the mistake just before he got in his car to drive, and he told my driver what had happened. My driver made sure I got my moneys worth and gave me 6 laps plus and extra one at fantastic speeds. Thanks so much guys.

Process to sign in once at the racetrack was totally disorganized. I waited a long time in line only to be told that I had to go to another line and that the drivers had priority. There were no markings to indicate what line to go to. Did not check my registration very thoroughly - seems like I could have given them any papers. Ride-along itself was fantastic and would highly recommend it.

This experience was a gift from my daughters, and it was the best gift ever. The ride along was a 'BLAST' and I enjoyed every minute of it....GREAT JOB CLOUD 9, keep up the good work, you got a winner here.

I was referred to cloud9 by a friend and contacted them immediately. It is what it is, a lifetime experience. First I thought my 9 seconds GT500 was fast, but I was wrong. This was crazy fast and to all those NASCAR drivers, you are real professionals. It took my family and I, 8 hours to get to Charlotte Motor Speedway and every minute of our adventure was more than worth it. I loveeeeeeee it!!!!!!!

The experience was perfect my boyfriend loved going fast speeds with the experienced driver. The only thing I would say is that the whole thing is kinda rushed. He wanted to take a picture with his driver and thank him but he was pulled out and the next person was put into the car very fast. That’s the only thing I would say I would want changed!

Wait time was very long even if there was not many people. After 2h of waiting they finally added a new car. Overall great experience, just a bit long on the waiting standing up in line

It was a good riding experience, but the wait was too long. It was too cold to be waiting inline for 1.5 hours. Perhaps the event was overbooked. Other than that, it was great.

I did the Nascar ride along at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 15. Had a great ride, the cars are sure faster from the inside! The driver and personal there to help you get into your helmet, Hans device and into the car all all great and helpful. The problem is with check in. They were very unorganized and the check in staff did not seem to know what they were doing. They told us to just be out towards the track anywhere and they would come to get us when it was our turn. Well no, we should have gone directly into the waiting line for the ride. The signage directing you to the actual check in area was also not very understandable. Other than that we had a great time. The video package is a bit overpriced. Jerry W

Expected 3 laps at speed, but first lap was acceleration and last lap was slowing down for half the lap. Still exciting to do!

Very unorganized. No briefing before our ride along ride. No Flame retardant jumpsuit to wear while riding in the racecar (driver was wearing one). Seemed all they were interested in doing was selling T-shirts and memorabilia. Very nice young man there to help you in and out of the car. I guess this experience is for those that have never rode the Monster Roller Coaster or never parachuted from an airplane or anything else for that matter.

I was under the impression that I would be put in a driver's suit, and get more HOORAH than what was actually experienced. It was in and out, quick. So I did not feel as though the time was worth the investment.
