Just beyond the bustling city of Asheville lies a lush natural landscape that includes rivers, forests, and the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. You’ll venture into this wilderness, led by an expert, naturalist guide, for an unforgettable encounter with nature!
You’ll begin your full-day nature adventure at the Asheville Visitor Center where you'll meet your guide, receive a basic instruction overview, and then board your complimentary transportation to the trailhead. Your hike starts in the late morning, when the sun casts a cozy light over the lush scenery. Stroll through this landscape, taking in the wildflowers, local wildlife, majestic waterfalls, and panoramic views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. Then you'll break for a nourishing lunch before heading out onto the water!
Paddle into a more mindful state as you join your guide for a kayaking adventure. You'll ride on a tandem sit-on-top kayak, an easier-to-maneuver design perfect for all skill levels. Bask in the scenery. Watch as birds cut across the wide-open sky. Paddle at a cozy pace or stop to drift with the current. It’s the perfect way to bring your Asheville nature adventure to a close!
This experience is led by a WNC-certified naturalist guide who will share stories about the land and its many marvels, so you'll walk away from your adventure with a deeper appreciation of Asheville’s natural landscape. This experience is designed for all skill levels, and the hiking route can be tailored to your interests. You will have ample opportunities to capture stunning landscape photos and selfies in the scenery!

Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 48 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 48 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, maintenance issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
