What happens on the day
Nestled at the height of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, Top of the Rock’s three levels of indoor and outdoor observation decks deliver spectacular, unobstructed views of the city skyline! With terraces facing east, west, north, and south, Top of the Rock’s panoramic sights make it the ultimate observation deck in NYC. Explore 9,500 square feet of unobstructed outdoor viewing space, the most of any New York observatory.
Upon arrival, admire the stunning, shimmering Swarovski chandelier on your way to the mezzanine level. Explore the newly reimagined Welcome Gallery, marvel at a dynamic 10-foot model of the entire campus, and enjoy an immersive multisensory film that brings the landmark’s history and vision to life.
Your visit to the Welcome Gallery culminates in a thrilling 43-second elevator ride to the 67th floor, where you’ll arrive at Level 1 of the Observation Deck. Then, admire breathtaking views from the completely open-air deck on the 70th-floor of Central Park, Empire State Building, One World Trade Center and downtown Manhattan.
To top it off, enjoy access to The Beam, a thrilling experience that recreates the legendary 1932 photo, “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper”. Rising 12 feet above Top of the Rock’s 69th-floor Observation Deck, The Beam rotates 180 degrees to treat visitors to a panorama of the NYC skyline!

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

Daily - 8:00 AM to 4:55 PM or 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM
This experience is not available for same-day booking. Please book at least 2 days in advance of your desired visit date.

- All ages welcome
- For The Beam Experience, guests cannot exceed 300 lbs and must be at least 42" tall to ride with an adult and 52" to ride alone
- The following items are not permitted on The Beam: Cell phones, tablets, laptops, electronic devices, cameras, selfie-sticks, go-pros and other recording devices, backpacks or bags of any size, keys, wallets, beverages, bottles, infant carriers or any other loose items. Medical devices such as oxygen tanks, canes and walkers are also not permitted.
- All loose personal belongings must be stored in the cubbies located adjacent to The Beam

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.

If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 7 days prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 7 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
