What happens on the day
Hang ten at Rockaway Beach, one of NYC’s most beginner-friendly surf spots!
Your lesson begins on the beach with your certified instructor, who brings years of experience and a passion for teaching. You’ll start by mastering the basics of surfing and ocean safety before hitting the water.
Then, slip into your wetsuit, grab a board, and get ready to ride the waves. The best part? As a private, small group lesson, you’ll enjoy more one-on-one time with your instructor, ensuring you get the most out of your hour together.
Whether you’re practicing your pop-up or surf stance, you’ll leave feeling more confident on the water. And don’t worry if you wipe out, another wave is on its way!

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 48 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 48 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
