What happens on the day
For millennia, civilizations have practiced the art of heating and shaping metals into works of art. And now, it’s your turn!
Your 4-hour private class begins as you step inside a professional blacksmithing shop, located in Brooklyn’s Industry City. Here, amidst the clang of hammers and the glow of forges, you'll experience the ancient craft of metalworking.
Your instructor will start with a safety briefing and introduction to the tools and techniques used in blacksmithing. Then, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get to work! Feel the thrill of working with hot metal as you hammer, bend, and twist it into shape.
The best part? Since this is a private class, what you create is completely up to you! Whether you’re a metalworking newbie or an artist looking to hone their skills, the possibilities are endless.

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, no cancellation requests will be allowed. Rescheduling requests are allowed up to 72 hours prior to the experience and are subject to additional fees. Failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
