Your experience begins at the Essex Street Market, a lively indoor hub in the heart of the Lower East Side. There, you’ll meet your licensed tour guide before diving into your first slice of the day, featuring a unique rectangular shape and artisanal ingredients.
Over the next two hours, you’ll enjoy skip-the-line access and reserved seating at some of the city’s best pizzerias, sampling two more one-of-a-kind slices. Along the way, you’ll also enjoy a refreshing soft drink at one of the stops and finish with a well-earned dessert.
Of course, your guide will bring the Lower East Side and Nolita’s history to life with stories of immigration, culture, and the origins of New York’s legendary pizza. The tour wraps up near Nolita/SoHo, with easy access to the J, Z, and 6 subway lines.
