What happens on the day
Assemble your very own authentic Japanese bento!
Working from your chef instructor’s personal kitchen, you’ll craft a mouthwatering five-course menu using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Start with a comforting bowl of miso soup made with seaweed, bonito flakes, scallions, and tofu.
Then, roll up your sleeves to create traditional pork gyoza dumplings, hand-rolled sushi with fresh market seafood, and savory okonomiyaki pancakes made with bacon, flour, and scallions. For the grand finale, you’ll enjoy a sweet treat: silky homemade ube ice cream made from purple potatoes, heavy cream, milk, and vanilla.
