- Following a demonstration, go hands-on to temper and hand dip your own chocolate creations
What happens on the day
In this private class, you will learn from a truly passionate 3rd generation chocolatier. Through a step by step introduction to chocolate, you will cover everything you need to know about buying, tasting, tempering, coating and decorating with chocolate in a hands-on environment.
After various skills are demonstrated, you will have the opportunity to temper your own chocolate, as well as experience hand dipping.
Regardless of your experience, this chocolate workshop will provide you with skills and knowledge that will pay you back for years to come!

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Prior to scheduling/booking a date for your experience, Virgin Gifts's standard return and exchange policy shall apply. Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations or rescheduling are allowed up to 7 days prior to your experience for a $25 fee. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel or reschedule at least 7 days prior to your experience will result in the loss of the value of your experience.

We had a 'private' lesson with Michael (the owner) and Rose his assistant of 50+ years. They were incredibly knowledgeable and we got to play with chocolate. They were wonderful and I would highly recommend this class.
A fun experience with Michael and Rose. Chocolate making is tough but they made it look easy.
