What happens on the day
Up, up, and away! Often referred to as the balloon capital of the world, Albuquerque’s wind patterns and temperatures make it one of the best hot air balloon destinations in the world.
Your exciting day will begin with a meet and greet with your certified pilot and crew. You’ll embark on a short shuttle ride to the launch site where the team will immediately begin the inflation process. Watch in awe as the giant balloon comes to life in front of you as it fills with air. Learn how to safely board the aircraft before taking to the skies!
Feel your feet lift off the ground as the hot air balloon slowly goes higher and higher into the air. Enjoy stunning views of the Rio Grande River Valley and see how this iconic river winds its way through the Albuquerque wilderness. After approximately 45 to 60 minutes of flying, your pilot will bring you back down to solid ground.
Once the balloon has been successfully taken down and packed back up, you’ll be transported to a beautiful park located near the Rio Grande River. Say cheers to a wonderful day with a complimentary glass of champagne and snacks. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

What can I expect during this experience?
You can expect to have a great time with friendly people and knowledgeable balloon pilots. The goal is to have an amazing time while exploring Albuquerque's wilderness aboard a hot air balloon.
Can I bring a camera?
Yes! Cameras are highly encouraged. For safety reasons, we recommend that you bring a camera with a neck or wrist strap.
What should I wear?
Because your experience will begin prior to sunrise, we recommend wearing light layers and flat, closed toe shoes. To stay warm, you may also want to bring gloves and a hat.
Is this ride handicap accessible?
Unfortunately, this hot air balloon ride can not accommodate wheelchairs or anyone with mobility issues. All participants must be able to safely board the aircraft and stand for the duration of the flight.

Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 48 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 48 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
