What happens on the day
Get ready for a bucket list worthy adventure! Located just north of Las Vegas, the Camel Safari Zoo is a ZAA-accredited facility boasting over 175 acres of breathtaking desert terrain. It’s also home to a variety of exotic animals, including (you guessed it) camels!
Your adventure begins with a scenic 25 to 30-minute camel ride led by an experienced handler. You’ll feel like a true desert adventurer as you traverse the Mojave desert from the back of a gentle giant. You’ll even get to stop and snap photos with your new camel friend – the perfect souvenir!
Next, embark on a scenic 1-hour tram ride guided by an expert zookeeper. Explore the property, spot over 30 camels, and enjoy hands-on encounters with zebras, alpacas, and more.
Finally, you’ll come face-to-face with some of the zoo’s most adorable residents on a behind-the-scenes tour. From porcupines and sloths to incredible New Guinea singing dogs, you’ll interact with a variety of exotic animals.
