What happens on the day
Discover the art of flying on this introductory flight lesson with the help of an FAA Certified Flight Instructor by your side.
You'll begin with a pre-flight inspection of the aircraft, followed by ground school where you'll learn what you'll need to know to pilot the plane.
Once airborne, your pilot will hand over the controls and let you fly the Cessna high above the St. Louis suburbs and countryside.
Choose between the 2-seater Cessna 152 or bring a friend to join you in the Cessna 172, pending weight restrictions.

- Cessna 152: Student must weigh less than 160 pounds and be under 6'1"
- Cessna 172: Maximum weight per person is 250 pounds, combined weight cannot exceed 500 lbs
- Each passenger must present a valid form of ID
- Students must be 16 years or old to fly up front with the instructor

Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 72 hour prior to your experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will reschedule directly with your pilot.

it was wonderful. totally surprised my husband for his birthday. our pilot was very nice and explained things well. husband got to take over up in the air. Portage Des Sioux was a great place to fly over and see where the Mississippi, Illinois, and Missouri rivers all meet. very pretty!
