What happens on the day
If you’ve ever dreamed of flying your own airplane, then climb aboard this amazing learn to fly experience. Your FAA Certified Flight Instructor will start things off with a pre-flight inspection where you’ll familiarize yourself with the airplane and learn how to check the fuel, the oil and instruments. You’ll be flying in either a 1960 Cessna 172A or a 1969 Beechcraft Musketeer 19 Sport.
After the pre-flight inspection, it's time to hop into the pilot's seat and take the controls. Your instructor will be right beside you, guiding you through the motions, but this introductory flight lesson is no passive ride-along. You’ll do as much as possible so you can really get a feel for what being a pilot is like. During the lesson, you will experience all different aspects of flight and feel the unparalleled exhilaration of flying an airplane.

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

What type of airplane will we be flying on?
You will be flying on either a 1960 Cessna 172A or a 1969 Beechcraft Musketeer 19 Sport with a FAA-certified pilot.
Are there any age restrictions to participate?
Students must be at least 16 years old to participate.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, rescheduling is allowed up to 72 hours prior to your experience, failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is cancelled due to inclement weather you will reschedule your experience directly with your experience provider.
