What happens on the day
There is no better way to enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior than from the seat of a helicopter on this scenic flight! From above, enjoy the different views and landmarks of the world's largest freshwater lake.
Departing from Duluth, your experienced pilot will take you on 1 of the following flights depending on option selected:
Aerial Tour (15 miles) - This tour encompasses popular sites in Duluth and Superior, flying 15 miles and offering amazing views of Duluth/Superior Harbor including the Enger Tower and Aerial Lift Bridge.
North Shore Tour (30 miles) - This tour travels 30 miles flying over the Port Terminal, Aerial lift bridge and Canal Park waterways. The flight will continue along the north shore and give you views of Glensheen Mansion, Hawks Ridge, and Lester River.
Ultimate Tour (60 miles) - This tour will fly south into Jay Cooke State Park over the beautiful waterfalls and dams. Next, fly along the St. Louis River, Ely's Peak and Spirit Mountain. Continue north as you experience the rest of the iconic views Duluth has to offer along the North Shore.
