Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to enjoy a fun night with all your couple friends, this 3-hour culinary adventure will be an amazing cultural experience none of you will ever forget!
Welcome your personal chef into your home, which will soon be filled with the aromas of a specially prepared dinner. Bringing their own style, flavors and history, your chef will delight you with recipes and stories as they teach you and your friends how to create a delicious 3-course meal. Don’t worry about your cooking skills – there’s something for everyone to learn, as you’ll get insider tips and tricks of the trade while you work.
From prep to service, you’ll create West African pepper soup, whole grilled Cameroonian fish with herb sauce and fried plantains, and a banana puff puff dessert. The lesson is friendly and relaxed, delivering finished dishes that taste as amazing as they look. Plus, everyone in the group will get a copy of the recipes after your dinner, so you can all continue the magic of your African cultural experience on your own!

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

What will we be cooking?
A typical menu is West African Pepper soup (Meat or vegan), Cameroonian grilled fish (chicken or veggie substitutes available) with fried ripe plantains and banana puff puff for dessert.
What about dietary restrictions or food allergies?
Substitutes for specific ingredients can be provided but may incur an additional fee, depending on the ingredient. An entirely new menu can be curated with your chef for an additional fee.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, no cancellation or rescheduling is allowed. Failure to appear on your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
