What happens on the day
Ever dreamed of racing like the pros? Make it happen at Michigan International Speedway.
During this one-of-a-kind experience, you'll slip into the driver's seat of a NASCAR-style stock car. It all starts with a quick classroom session where you'll learn the ins and outs of safely driving these powerful vehicles. Then, you'll be equipped with a helmet and racing suit before rolling up to the starting line. With a wave of the green flag, you'll hit the gas and go full throttle.
Throughout your session, an expert instructor will coach you in real time via a helmet radio, helping you make the most of every lap. At the end, you’ll receive a printed certificate showcasing your top speed. And the best part? With this flexible racing package, you'll have access to a variety of time slots, including sessions during peak hours (pending availability).
Add a Ride Along
Take your experience up a notch by adding on a 3-lap ride along. Sit back (and hold on) as a professional driver shows you what these stock cars can really do.
About the Michigan International Speedway
The Michigan International Speedway is a 2-mile, D-shaped speedway. With wide sweeping corners and long straightaways, races on this speedway have hit speeds in excess of 200 MPH.

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!
AM times are typically 8:00 to 11:00

Important Details
Essential Information
- Participants must be a minimum of 5'0'' and 100 lbs in order to participate, and a maximum of 6'7" and 300 lbs
- Participants must be in good overall physical condition
- A valid driver's license is required
- Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent of legal guardian who must sign a consent form
- Vehicles are manual transmission (stick shift), however the crew is happy to assist you if you need a little help
- Pricing includes accidental insurance coverage, souvenir racing license and ear buds
- Photos and video packages are available for purchase at the track
- Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages
- Some seating is provided, however, it is recommended to bring lawn chairs to guarantee a seat for any spectators

In the unlikely event that you spin out or wreck your car, you will be asked to leave the track for safety reasons.

If your experience is canceled due to inclement weather, the driving school will contact you and either immediately reschedule you for another available date, or issue you a credit that never expires and can be used at any of the nationwide speedways A refund will not be issued due to rain-outs.

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final and no cancellations can be made. Rescheduling requests are allowed up to 30 days prior to the experience; however, all rescheduling requests are subject to additional fees. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule within 30 days of your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your experience is cancelled due to inclement weather, maintenance issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
