Located in West Cambridge, Formaggio Kitchen is a beloved family-owned shop celebrated for its exceptional selection of artisanal cheeses. From Italian Parmigiano Reggiano to fresh Vermont cheddar, they take pride in sourcing top-tier products from around the world.
Your experience begins with a behind-the-scenes tour of the shop’s renowned cheese cave. Led by a knowledgeable cheesemonger, you’ll learn how cheeses are aged, cared for, and brought to peak flavor in this carefully curated environment.
Then, you’ll sample a selection of gourmet cheeses, each paired with flavorful charcuterie and wine. As you taste, you’ll learn about the unique characteristics, stories, and pairing tips behind each cheese. Finally, you’ll enjoy a private shopping consultation, where you can ask questions, receive pairing advice, and learn about specific products!

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

- Participants must be at least 21 years old and bring their valid photo ID
- Guests can expect a snack-sized portion of cheese (about 4 ounces total) and tasting-sized pours of wine (about 2 ounces per glass)
- Additional cheese and other products are not included, but can be purchased separately from the shop
- To visit the cheese cave, guests must be physically able to safely navigate a flight of stairs
- This experience requires participants to stand. Chairs can be requested but are not guaranteed

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.

If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 72 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
