Learn to Fly a Plane Near Baltimore

My son and I went for the Flight. Junior was the Flight Instructor. He was outstanding. He's a good communicator and we had a wonderful experience flying over the Chesapeake Bay and Baltimore City. Highly recommend!

Flight Instructor Brian was personable, knowledgeable, and informative. Staff member Lori was also personable and easy to deal with when confirming plans for the flight. I would recommend Brett Aviation and Brian for a flight experience.

Really was an amazing experience. Paul, the instructor, was great for explaining the how to's of flying a plane. He was open to any questions and was so helpful. And yes, you actually get to take control for some portions of the flight. I would definitely recommend this adventure.

This was so cool! I've always wanted my private pilots license. This experience solidified that desire and I'll be taking lessons soon. The instructor was so calm and reassuring. I learned a lot.

It was extremely satisfying. My son had his first flying lesson and is hooked. Ian was our "guide" instructor and he was fun, professional and competent. The plane was clean and well maintained. From this brief time working with Brett Aviation, I will go back David's future lessons. With out question.

Instructor (Ian) was capable, knowledgeable, informative. Great trip, awesome experience. Girl at desk when registering was not so much! She seemed to not care one way or the other about much of anything. But fortunately, she wasn't why I was there.

The instructor did a wonderful job and really helped me get the full flying experience.

Our experience was awesome and our pilot, Robert, was amazing, very knowledgeable. He made it easy to ask questions and was very thorough. He really made the experience enjoyable. Robert is a great asset for the aviation school as well as Cloud 9 Living. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone, it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

This flight was incredible! Absolutely wild. I had a great time, and the instructor kept my girlfriend and I at ease the whole time since we were both a little nervous. Learning to fly for the first time was awesome, and the pilot showed us some really cool things you can do while in the plane: turns and dives, zero gravity tricks, and even let me land the plane. Absolutely would recommend.

Awesome experience. One more thing off my bucket list.

The experience was fantastic! From the time we arrived at the airport, the host inside the office was friendly and informative. The pilot was outstanding, and took plenty of time with my son and I to explain what we'd be doing in the airplane. It was great, and we highly recommend this experience!

The people at the aviation school were awesome. Very friendly. Robert was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information and made the whole experience the best. We would definitely do this again and highly recommend it!

I had no idea what to expect honestly, as it was a bday gift from my wife. But I loved it, it was definitely a bucket list experience to learn the basics of flying. I was surprised that the instructor actually let me land the plane! But he was calm and explained everything perfectly, which gave me confidence. I loved every minute of it and would recommend to anyone.

Joe was our amazing guide and pilot. He made the experience a real pleasure for me. I was able to experience the actual feeling of being a pilot. He explained what was happening as we went along, and gave me an understanding of some of the messages and the reasons for the little bumps along the way. The whole experience far exceeded my expectations. The whole trip was a pleasure from beginning to end, and I am sure that this will not be my last flight. Joe told me about a longer experience that is available, and I think my son is already looking for an excuse for us to go again. Thank you and Joe for a very special experience.

This was a gift from our son for his father's (Gary) 65th birthday. He couldn't have been happier with the experience. He enjoyed every minute of it. The instructor, Joe, was a great part of this positive experience. He was knowledgeable, friendly and put both Gary and myself at ease. (Gary had asked if I wanted to ride along). We can't say enough about Joe. He was wonderful.

This was the best present ever, I'm already checking on flight schools. Everyone at Cloud 9 Living was very nice and the process was easy. The flight instructor was top-notch. I highly recommend it.

LOVED IT!!!

This experience was for my 14yr old son, "Sam." It was a Christmas gift initially scheduled for Dec. 24th. Because of the poor weather, we had to be rescheduled. With the assistance of the instructor it was rescheduled for Christmas Day, which was just about perfect, weather and all. Sam's instructor (Will) was great. He explained all of the plane's abilities and functions. Sam did a pre-flight inspection on these areas and more: wing marker lights, aileron, flaps, elevator, rudder, trim tab, and fuel quality with the fuel strainer. Sam is on the shorter side so had to have some assistance from a pillow and blanket, which worked just fine. There was a fairly strong wind while taking off. Once airborne Sam could see everything, "it was real cool and exciting." Sam said that he was pretty nervous when he was given the 'yoke' for his solo, but the nervousness only lasted a couple of minutes. "Flying the plane was awesome, and controlling it was pretty easy too". Sam said that he can tell his friends that he was able to pilot a real plane (Cessna) for Christmas. We would recommend this experience to anyone. It was fun and really exciting to fly a real plane. Sam & I (Dad), would like to thank Cloud 9 Living and especially Will for being accommodating, and for this fantastic experience --- you were AWESOME! This is a memory that will last a lifetime.

Great experience!! I absolutely loved it. One thing that would improve the experience is to provide the vendors with the Cloud ( reservation or booking number??? I didn't have my sheet and the young lady at the airport REALLY wanted that info.

Amazing Experience..short ride though

Great experience to view part of Maryland from a different and exciting vantage point. Alex was knowledgeable, friendly and confident with instruction. My daughter and I were happy that Brett Aviation was able to accommodate our request to fly together by adjusting the midpoint airport. Will recommend this location to others!

Operator was behind schedule and experience started at least 45 minutes late. Experience was OK. Didn't feel that the instructor was a particularly good teacher, in terms of giving clear instructions or in terms of style. If I were to continues flight school, I would use a different school.
