What happens on the day
Whether you’re an aspiring pilot or have always just wanted to fly, this introductory lesson is perfect for all skill levels!
After a 30-minute ground lesson and safety debriefing, climb into the cockpit of a Cessna 172 Aircraft. Your instructor will teach you the basics before take-off and soon you will be soaring into blue skies.
Once you’ve reached cruising altitude, you’ll take the controls and experience the freedom of flight. Embrace the adrenaline as you glide through the air, just like a real-life pilot!
Enjoy approximately 45 minutes in the air before your instructor brings you safely back down to solid ground.

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

What do I need to bring?
What if my flight is cancelled due to weather?
In the event your flight is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will reschedule directly with your pilot. Always contact the experience provider the day of your experience with any questions regarding weather conditions.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, rescheduling is allowed up to 5 days prior to the experience for a date within 6 months of your originally booked date. Failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 5 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your flight is cancelled due to inclement weather, maintenance issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
