What happens on the day
Experience the very best of the Teton River as you paddle north towards the rugged Teton Range and past lush willows, picturesque farmlands, and storybook barns!
Your incredible adventure will begin with a quick shuttle ride to the launch site at Bates Bridge. You’ll be equipped with an extra-wide paddleboard, paddle, personal flotation device, and a dry bag for your personal belongings. Before setting out on your journey, local rental staff will provide you with a basic lesson in paddleboarding. You’ll be surprised at how easy it is to balance on your board and soon, you’ll be paddling the river like a pro!
Beginning near downtown Driggs, you’ll paddle approximately 8 miles along the winding Teton River to the Cache Bridge. Ideal for pros and beginners with an adventurous spirit, this portion of the Teton River includes braided channels, bends, twists, and remarkable vistas around every corner. Enjoy panoramic views of the Teton Range and keep your eyes peeled moose and other wildlife that call the willow-lined banks of the Teton River home.
After a breathtaking half-day of paddling, your rental will conclude at the Cache Bridge. Located just minutes away from the town of Tetonia, you can choose to continue your adventure by exploring this small mountain town.

What should I bring?
In addition to swimming gear for the river, optional items include sunscreen, sunglasses, a waterproof camera, and an extra change of clothes.
Do I need previous experience?
Although experience is not required, this trip does cross portions of the Teton River that are a bit more technical and covers approximately 8 miles. An introductory lesson in stand-up paddleboarding will be provided prior to entering the water, but we recommend that you have at least some paddleboarding experience for this trip.
Will there be a guide with us?
No. This is a paddleboard rental package. While this experience does include a lesson in paddleboarding from a certified instructor, the paddling portion is not guided.

Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 72 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
