What happens on the day
Experience the thrill of flying down the dragstrip at Firebird Raceway!
Your day kicks off with expert instruction from the legendary World Champion driver, Frank Hawley, and his skilled team. You’ll dive into classroom training, in-car guidance, and on-track coaching. Then, it's time to hit the strip!
Start with a thrilling 1/8-mile warm-up run, and if you demonstrate good skills and judgment, you’ll be ready for two heart-pounding quarter-mile runs. Each run puts you in the driver’s seat of a big-block Chevy-powered dragster that has the ability to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in just 3 seconds.
Firebird Raceway: Located just outside of Boise, Idaho, this premier motorsport facility is known for its high-speed thrills and world-class events. The raceway boasts a top-notch dragstrip where you can hit jaw-dropping speeds, all while staying safe and secure. It's the perfect spot for pro and newbie racers!

Availability
When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

*Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School visits different dragstrips throughout the year, with each visit lasting only one exhilarating day. For the best availability, we recommend redeeming and booking your experience as soon as possible.

Essential Information
- Helmets, collar, gloves, arm restraints, and racing suits will be provided
- Liability reduction is included
- Participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license
- This experience is not recommended for participants who are 6'5" or taller
- Participants cannot exceed 300 pounds
- Drivers must demonstrate proper skills and judgement to advance from the half track run to the full runs

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 30 days prior to the experience. However, all cancellation and rescheduling requests are subject to additional fees. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 30 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
