What happens on the day
Get ready for the ultimate island adventure at Oahu's iconic Polynesian Cultural Center!
Located on Oahu’s North Shore, the Polynesian Cultural Center features 42 acres dedicated to sharing the traditions of six Polynesian islands: Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, Fiji, and Aotearoa (New Zealand/Māori). Upon arrival, you'll join a small-group guided tour, taking part in hands-on activities and demonstrations, including games, music, dance, crafts, fire-making, coconut husking, and the spectacular "Huki: A Canoe Celebration" pageant.
Next, it's time for the Aliʻi Lūʻau, a royal celebration of Hawaiian culture. Receive a traditional lei greeting and tropical smoothie before watching the Royal Court procession and the ceremonial unveiling of the pig from the imu (underground oven). Then, indulge in a buffet of island favorites, including kalua pork, poke, salmon, poi, fresh fruit, and more. Throughout your meal, enjoy live hula performances and Hawaiian music in a beautiful outdoor setting.
To top it all off, you'll enjoy gold-level seating for the award-winning "HĀ: Breath of Life" evening show. Featuring more than 100 Polynesian performers, this breathtaking production combines dance, live music, immersive storytelling, and thrilling fire knife performances!
