The tour mechanism were great…boat, captain and crew were first rate. What happens on the day
Every winter, thousands of humpback whales migrate from Alaska to the warm and welcoming waters of Hawaii. Experience these incredible wild animals up close and personal with this exciting whale watching adventure!
Your thrilling day will kick off when you board a comfortable, double-decker boat. Featuring luxurious, wraparound seating and a large front deck, you’ll have no problem taking in the stunning ocean views around you. Following a brief safety overview, you’ll experience an authentic Hawaiian chant. Then, it’s time to set sail!
You’ll cruise along the Gold Coast, past the iconic Diamond Head crater, and out into Oahu’s pristine turquoise waters. Watch for the tell-tale blow of the humpback whale. If you’re lucky, you may even see one of these creatures breach out of the water! Depending on how close these animals are, your crew will lower a special microphone into the water. Listen to the whale’s fascinating songs in real time over a state-of-the-art speaker system. Besides whales, you may also spot dolphins, sea turtles, sea birds, and more!
As you head back to the harbor, the crew will treat you to an authentic Hawaiian hula dance. Join in on the dance before enjoying local snacks and your choice of coffee, tea, water or lemonade!

What can I expect on this tour?
You can expect to have a great time with friendly people and knowledgeable local tour guides. The goal is to have an amazing time while watching whales and learning about the importance of these magnificent creatures.
Can you guarantee that I will see a whale?
Over 10,000 humpback whales migrate through the area every year. Your chances of seeing a whale are extremely high! In the rare case that you do not see a whale, you will receive a voucher from the experience provider for another cruise.
Is there a bathroom on the boat?
Yes! There is a small bathroom on board.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 48 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 48 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
