There’s no better way to start your day in Hawaii than diving into the island’s pristine waters on this Deluxe Morning Snorkeling Tour!
Your 4-hour tour begins when you climb aboard a custom-made boat and make your way to the world’s best snorkeling destinations. Hug the rugged coastline along South Kona and listen as the captain relays stories explaining the rich cultural and geological history of the Big Island.
You’ll visit two breathtaking spots. At Kealakekua Bay, you can explore the 315-acre marine sanctuary at the foot of the monument to Captain James Cook. When you need a rest from snorkeling, climb back onto the boat to enjoy a refreshing snack while your captain skillfully maneuvers along the base of Hualali, Hawaii’s 3rd youngest volcano. Explore sea caves and lava tubes, while keeping an eye out for marine life like dolphins, whales, and sea turtles. You may even spot a herd of goats playing on land.
Just south of Kealakekua Bay, you’ll find Honaunau Bay, a royal and protected area known as a “Place of Refuge”. Immerse yourself in Hawaiian culture here. As you snorkel through the clear waters, keep an eye out for green sea turtles, colorful fish, Hawaiian spinner dolphins, and some of the best live coral you’ll see anywhere on the island.
