What happens on the day
Explore the natural beauty of the Loxahatchee River at Riverbend Park. This river is a designated Wild and Scenic River, and along your kayaking adventure you will encounter a wide array of plant life that thrives in the area. You'll also view wildlife that lives in the area, including otter, deer, fishes, birds, and the occasional gator! Overhead, cypress trees offer cool shade as you paddle along this beautiful but challenging course.
The Loxahatchee runs among numerous salt and fresh water habitats, allowing the area to support turtles, otters, deer, raccoon, turkey, bald eagles, owls, ibis, tortoises, storks, and more. You also might spot fish beneath the boat such as redfish, jacks, and mullet. This scenic trip is both relaxing and vigorous!
