After your arrival, expert guides will teach you how to paddle a tandem kayak. This is the perfect time to ask any questions, but your guides will be with you throughout should anything come up. Once you've perfected your paddle, you’ll head to the water! Sarasota Bay is home to dolphins, manatees, exotic birds, fish, and more. But have no fear, there are no gators here.
A tandem kayak is a fun and interactive way to explore Sarasota Bay and Lido Key. Glide across the serene waters, meeting and greeting the dolphins and manatees that call it home. They may even come up to your kayak to say hello! Next, you’ll paddle into the enchanting mangrove tunnels. These naturally-occurring tunnels are created by the twisting roots and branches of mangrove trees, with shafts of sunlight trickling through the leaves. You'll feel like you've entered a fantastical new world!
Join a friend, family member, or loved one for a 2-hour exploration of Lido Key. Keep your eyes peeled for the wide range of bird species native to this area. These avian residents include osprey, pelicans, great blue heron, and cormorants who will swim alongside your kayak.
