Your day will begin with a thorough briefing which will include flight prep, flight systems training, and safety procedures. You're FAA-Certified Flight Instructor will walk you through it all and ensure you are equipped with the knowledge and confidence you'll need to man the controls once in the air. Before you know it, it will be time to suit up and climb into the cockpit!
For this flight, you will be flying in an Aero L-39 Albatros jet. Known for its exceptional maneuverability and reliability, this small jet is a popular training craft among air forces around the world. Your instructor will handle take-off and landing, but you will have the opportunity to man the controls during your approximately 30-minute flight. In the air, you'll feel the pull of g-forces as you and your instructor expertly execute aerobatic maneuvers like Immelman turns, barrel rolls, Cuban Eights and more.

Do I need prior flight experience?
No experience is necessary! Your expert pilot will make sure you have the knowledge and confidence you need before handing over the controls of the jet.
Do I have to fly the plane?
Not necessarily! You and your expert flight instructor will come up with a flight plan prior to take-off. At this time, you can discuss whether you'd like to try some aerobatic maneuvers and/or if you'd like to man the controls yourself. A flight in a fighter jet is a rare opportunity and it's entirely up to you how you want to enjoy it!
What are the age and health requirements to fly?
You must be at least 14 years old to fly with parental consent. You also need to be in good health (e.g. no serious back problems, high blood pressure controlled by medication, not pregnant). The weight limit is 300 pounds and height limit is 6'5" for the experience.
Can I add an in-flight video?
Yes, you may add an in-flight video on the date of your experience for an additional cost through your experience provider.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation no refunds will be given. However, cancellations and rescheduling can be done with at least 7 days' notice prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel or reschedule at least 7 days prior to your booked flight, will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
