What happens on the day
Swim with Florida’s friendliest residents during this manatee snorkel and boat tour!
You’ll board a spacious boat and cruise along the aptly named Crystal River, sparkling in the Florida sunshine and surrounded by lush wilderness. Keep your eyes peeled for local birds or deer while your captain provides fascinating information as well as a brief safety instruction. Once you've arrived at the dive spot, it’s time to get into the water!
You can choose to snorkel or to watch from the comfort of the boat. If you choose to snorkel, you'll be equipped with top-tier equipment before slipping into the warm, crystalline waters. This is the only place where you can swim with manatees in the wild. If you're lucky, these friendly “sea cows” may approach you to say hello. This is a once in a lifetime experience that will live in your heart for years to come!
This 10-hour experience also includes lunch and a visit to Homosassa Wildlife State Park, where you’ll get an up-close look at several endangered species. You’ll see the state panther, black bears, and more manatees. By the end, you’ll have immersed yourself in the wilds of Florida, and developed an appreciation for the local conservation efforts.
