What happens on the day
This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to learn new techniques, develop your skills, and create beautiful and functional glass items!
Embrace your inner artist as you step inside a one-of-a-kind studio. Featuring professional-grade equipment and tools, you’ll have everything you need to get started. Over the course of 30 minutes, you’ll have the opportunity to complete either 1 large project or 2 small items. Whether you decide to create a colorful vase, decorative pumpkin, or a shiny Christmas ornament, you’ll walk away with glass art that’s uniquely you!
Your instructor will introduce you to the basics of melting, blowing, reheating, and shaping glass. You’ll even get to try your hand at a few techniques! Watch in awe as your molten piece of glass slowly begins to take shape.
Once complete, you’ll carefully place your glass masterpiece into the annealer. This special oven allows the glass to cool slowly and helps prevent cracking. Your completed project will be ready for pick up the following day.

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

FAQs
Can I take home my pieces after the class?
Due to the heating and cooling characteristics of glass, your creation must be left overnight at the studio, to cool in the oven and set properly. Items may be picked up the day after your class. Shipping is available for students who cannot pick up their pieces.
What happens if my glass art breaks during the cooling process?
Sometimes breaks happen. If this should happen to you, you'll have to option to reschedule and remake your piece. If you cannot reschedule, the studio will remake your item for you. No refunds will be offered.
Will my item be perfect?
Glassblowing is an art form that takes years to master. If this is your first time, it is unlikely that your item will come out exactly as you imagined it would. While it may not be perfect, your piece will be unique to you and will remind you of the incredible time you had creating it!

Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 72 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
