First and foremost, please accept my sincerest apologies for the events that unfolded on the day of your flight. I understand your concerns and I cannot imagine what it must have felt like to go through that experience. I was able to connect with your pilot to gather additional notes in order to best assist you and they did ask me to extend their apologies as well. They kindly let me know that the flap did unlatch and that this was an unprecedented occurrence and is not a standard that typically happens. Your pilot assured me that although very unnerving to witness, they had your safety in mind every step of the way. I am delighted to hear that they were very professional and were able to safely land your aircraft. It sounds like they were able to offer an extended flight time or a ground ride back to the airport. I am thrilled that despite the troubles and delay of your experience, you were still able to take the control of the aircraft and experience the beauty from up above. All in all, it truly sounds like the perfect storm.
