What happens on the day
Climb aboard a historic Waco UPF-7 open-cockpit biplane and experience a one-of-a-kind sightseeing tour over the gorgeous sights around Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral. On this 17 - 20 minute tour, you’ll experience the fun and excitement of flying into the wild blue yonder in the seat of a WWII-era airplane.
Meet up with your FAA Certified Pilot for a quick safety briefing to get started. Then hop into the front seat of the biplane, buckle up, and strap on your helmet just like a 1940s flying ace because it’s time to take off. Embrace the rush of adrenaline as the plane taxis down the runway and the wheels lift off the ground. Feel the wind on your face as you take in the incredible views of Cocoa Beach below.
Check out Port Canaveral’s shrimp boat fleet and keep your eyes peeled for a US Navy submarine at the Trident Turning Basin. Are there any weight limits?
The maximum combined weight for passengers is 500 lbs.
Are there any age restrictions?
While there is no legal minimum age, the tour provider recommends no younger than 3 years of age for children accompanied by an adult. A child of normal stature for this age will fit safely in the seat belts and be tall enough to take in the view. The child must be able to wear a headset or earplugs due to engine noise. There is no maximum age, as long as you can get into and out of the cockpit. (It requires a little bit of flexibility).
What type of airplane will we be flying in?
You’ll be flying in a Waco UPF-7 open-cockpit biplane.
Can I talk to the pilot during the flight?
Yes, the biplane has an intercom system that allows two-way communication between the pilot and the passengers. Headsets are provided.
Can I bring a camera?
Yes! A camera with a wide-angle lens and strap is perfect. A camcorder is good as long as it is one of the smaller, handheld types.

Cancellation Policy
Once you have booked your experience and received confirmation, all bookings for this experience may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 72 hour notice directly to the experience provider. Failure to appear on the booked date, or to reschedule or cancel at least 72 hours prior to the booked date, will result in the loss of the value of the experience. In the event of inclement weather or a maintenance issue leading to the booked date being cancelled, you may reschedule directly with the experience provider.
