My 5-Stars are for those who put on a great dinner show. The young man & woman who handled the check-in process were efficient and the host of the show (same young man who checked us in) was awesome! The performers/actors were funny, really mingled with the dinner guests and our table had a blast. I added in a "participant" (my husband) to be picked-on and have the performers consider him a suspect. He was so surprised and I'm really happy I added that in. The hotel was clean and very nice. Unfortunatley the food was low-par. VERY very small portions! Definitely not 4 courses, unless you consider an appetizer as 1 tiny-one-bite piece of toasted bread with a topping and a tiny fried round ball of ? cream cheese ? The salmon was good, but what little 'sides' on the plate- I left the dinner still hungry. 1 dessert choice. Cheesecake. Not everyone can eat that. Needed to get up and ask the manager if the server was coming back with coffee. The manager actually brought it over for us, too bad it was barely hot. Our server didn't look at us, no interaction whatsoever, appeared to be upset that he had to work. Our table asked for more rolls, twice- he didn't say a word and just walked away ( 1 roll per person ). Same with the coffee- he poured 2 cups at our table, and just walked away without saying a word! Did he need to make/get more? No clue, because he just walked away and never came back. That's when I needed to follow up with the manager. I guess it's worth it for the show only. Definitely not the food! We would love to attend another show, but it would need to be at a different venue for sure! Eat something before going if it's at the Omni in New Haven, CT. Have cash! They only accept cash or venmo for drinks. No credit cards!

I've never been to a Murder Mystery Dinner Show. How does it work?
The show takes place throughout the entire room, performers may even be seated at your table. Part of the fun from the beginning is trying to figure out who's involved in the crime and who's not. Throughout the night, murders and mayhem will occur, hidden clues will come forth and the Detectives will help everyone try to solve the crime. In the end, there is a prize package for the Top Sleuth who comes closest to solving the crime.

What type of food is served?
Entree choices are typically as follows (and are subject to change): Lemon Thyme Grilled Chicken Breast, BBQ Bourbon Glazed Pork Chop, and Four Cheese Tortellini. Dessert is typically New York Style Cheese Cake with Strawberry Compote,Whipped Cream and Chocolate Sauce. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please notify Virgin Experience Gifts at the time of booking.

*All seats are center stage! There is no set stage and the action happens all around you. The performers make an effort to engage all guests in solving the crime.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 7 days prior to the experience and is subject to a per person transfer fee. Failure to appear on your booked date or reschedule at least 7 days prior will result in the loss of the value of your experience.

So much fun. The actors were great. Food was excellent too.
The food served was very good! The hostess or woman who was in charge was very good. The seating was ok, but tight, not as comfortable as I would’ve liked. The beginning of the show was a little confusing, asking us to “question “ other guests. The plot was very involved and not super easy to figure out. I think one reason was the acoustics in the room. I missed dialogue when it came from the other side of the room, so I couldn’t catch some names and other things they were saying. Maybe headset microphones would have made it better. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I expected it to be better. I would not go again.
