What happens on the day
Experience the magic of golden hour in northern Colorado!
Your journey begins at The Stables at Gordon Creek RV Park in Livermore, where you’ll meet a friendly team of expert wranglers. After getting fitted with a helmet and saddlebag, you’ll be introduced to a calm, well-mannered horse and learn the basics of riding, including how to cue your horse to walk, stop, and turn with confidence.
Then, it’s time to hit the trail! Meander through peaceful valleys and open meadows before climbing to a scenic hilltop overlooking the surrounding mountains and Roosevelt National Forest. From there, you’ll admire the brilliant sky as it turns from orange and red to soft shades of purple and pink.
