What happens on the day
Romance meets adventure during this private Rocky Mountain horseback ride!
Your journey begins at The Stables at Gordon Creek RV Park in Livermore, where you’ll meet a friendly team of expert wranglers. After getting fitted with a helmet and saddlebag, you’ll be introduced to a calm, well-mannered horse and learn the basics of riding, including how to cue your horse to walk, stop, and turn with confidence.
Then, it’s time to hit the trail! Meander through peaceful valleys and open meadows while keeping an eye out for wildlife including deer, hawks, coyotes, and even the occasional eagle. Of course, your expert guide will also share fun facts and stories, bringing northern Colorado’s rich history and natural beauty to life.
For the grand finale, you’ll unwind in a secluded, green meadow with a picturesque picnic setup and an artisanal charcuterie spread. Indulge in gourmet cheeses, cured meats, fresh produce, nuts, crackers, desserts, and more!

- Riders must be at least 6 years old and cannot exceed 350 lbs
- Riders between the ages of 6 and 17 are required to wear a helmet
- Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult
- Gluten-free and vegetarian charcuterie platters are available upon request
- Serious food allergies cannot be accommodated as cross contamination may occur
